Seminar at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics

(May 31 – June 1)

IEF co-sponsored an “International Academic Seminar on Character Education for College Students”, together with the College of Humanities of the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. The event was attended by 70 scholars and educators from Shanghai universities and other provincial universities, as well as scholars from the USA and Germany.

Opening remarks were given by Professor Xin Ping, Director of the Moral Education Department of the Shanghai Education Bureau, and by Professor Xie Haiguan, Director of the Internet Office of Shanghai City Government’s Propaganda Department, also a Vice President of the Higher Education Psychology Counseling Research Association. Professor Zhang Xiong, the Dean of the College of Humanities, was the master of ceremonies.
