IEF
framework for life education
IEF promotes a three part framework for life
education.
- Develop
personal integrity and good character.
Personal integrity and good character are the cornerstones
for becoming a global citizen who respects people of all
cultures and cares for the environment.
- Build a
committed, trusting relationship with a partner to establish
an enduring
marriage
and loving family.
Establishing
an enduring marriage in which both partners share
equal rights, responsibilities and respect is the
foundation
for a healthy society. Raising children in a
family with parents of committed, loving parents
helps children learn respect for themselve and others.
- Make a contribution
to society, through constructive, creative endeavors
in work, the arts
and business.
Making
a contribution
to society is the right and responsibility
of all capable adults. Contributing through
work, art, industry and other creative expressions
helps one's community to
flourish and can reduce the risk of social
problems.
