You know, bike is one of the best tools to use to burn calories and lose weight. You can increase calories burned by doing sprints now and then during the trip for sure. Cycling can be done indoors on stationary bike when the weather was bad, with little or no change in your calorie burn.

You can use the bike to do some tasks and at the same time to burn some calories that you’ll never have a chance to do otherwise. Most people think of bicycles as a cardio exercise at all, but it is not always true. You can take your bike up the hill, especially with the additional burden. It would be increased trailer leg strength and also will be a great way to strengthen your core.

If you ride BMX or Mountain Bike, you will also build some upper body strength and you will burn more calories than if you just got relaxed. You can buy a comfort bike or a hybrid if you are only interested in fitness and do not mind sitting alone, and also do not really care about the speed but just want to burn calories and get fir. This usually has a narrower tire so they will go much faster.
